Arguably the most important Christian festival after Christmas and Easter is the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Tomorrow we celebrate the birth of the Christia church and the Spirit's working among us as we remember what happened 50 days after Easter when the Holy Spirit appeared. Maybe it's just me, but I think the work of the Holy Spirit is perhaps less understood than what Jesus did or the Father in heaven. Why did he have to come at Pentecost? What about the spiritual gifts the early Christians had, and why don't we see them anymore? Why do some Christians speak in tongues? There are plenty more.
